Night Before (Departure from Bengaluru)

• 9:30 PM: Depart from Bengaluru by bus or private vehicle. The drive to MM Hills takes about 5–6 hours (approximately 210 km).
  • Pro Tip: Carry light snacks, water, and a neck pillow for a comfortable ride.

Day 1: Trek to Nagamale and Back

Early Morning: Arrival at MM Hills

• 4:00 AM: Reach the Male Mahadeshwara Temple area, the base point for your trek. Freshen up at a local lodge or temple facilities.
• 4:30 AM - 5:00 AM: Have a quick, energizing breakfast (idli, dosa, or upma with coffee) at a local eatery near the temple.

Morning: Start the Trek to Nagamale

• 6:30 AM: Begin your trek through the serene forests of MM Hills.
  • Trail Highlights:
    • The forest is alive with the sound of chirping birds and rustling leaves.
    • Witness beautiful clearings, rocky pathways, and lush greenery.
    • Spot wildlife (if you’re lucky), such as deer, peacocks, and more.
  • Midway Stop: Rest at small clearings along the way to enjoy panoramic views.
• 9:30 AM: Reach Nagamale, a sacred site surrounded by nature. Explore the Naga Devara Temple, believed to be a divine place where sages meditated. The calm ambiance is perfect for introspection and photography.

Midday: Return to MM Hills

• 10:30 AM: Begin your descent back to MM Hills. The downhill trek is easier but requires steady pacing.
• 2: PM: Reach the base point at MM Hills and refresh.

Afternoon: Explore MM Hills & Lunch

• 2:00 PM: Visit the famous Male Mahadeshwara Temple, a sacred shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere.
• 2:30 PM: Have a traditional South Indian lunch

Evening: Return Journey to Bengaluru

• 5:00 PM: Begin your journey back to Bengaluru by vehicle.
